Finally at home
.
Here it is, finally at its forever home! Sienna Lynn Studio designed this space so beautifully. It was a privilege to create for this amazing healing space.
Fiber curation for the latest commission
.
I am slowly getting ready to start weaving another custom piece. Stay tuned!
New commission
.
While I’m working on the wellness suites piece, I have been navigating details of another commission.
I have been contacted by a local therapist who inquired about a woven art for her office. She wanted it to reflect “tension or inner conflict,” which many of her clients struggle with. Other themes she wanted me to play with through texture and color, which compliments her office palette included “uncertainty, journeying/navigating defensiveness, vulnerability, risk, bravery, reassurance, sanctuary, and self-deprication.”
Human experience and landscape of deep and complex emotion heavily influence my process. It is a privilege to create for another healing space and hold in mind themes that I too see in my clients. Blending my work as a psychologist and an artist is an absolute treat!
Here are a few photos of the design process. It was collaborative and involved lots of communication, ultimately resulting in a rendering my client was very happy with.
Back to work!
.
I am back from vacation and quite busy already. I have been navigating details of this next commission for the wellness suites in Bloomington, MN. I am quite excited to create for a healing space. The inspiration behind this piece is a nearby nature preserve - Prairie Bluff Conservation Area in Eden Prairie. Check out this beautiful color scheme!
Another trip home
Long awaited trip to Poland. We started out in Gdansk, my first time there. It is indeed as spectacular as they say it is. Lots of color, culture, festivals, history, and great food. Then we visited castle of the Teutonic Order - Malbork, which is the largest castle in the world measured by land area. What an amazing historical journey through the 13th and 14th century!
You can’t leave the North of Poland without visiting the Baltic Sea. The beach, seals island trip, swimming, and LOTS of amber. I left wondering whether I was “the mountains or the sea side gal.” To be honest an impossible choice, as both are just beautiful and must see in Poland.
We spent the rest of our time visiting family and doing smaller trips to our favorite towns and parks like Kazimierz Dolny, Ojcow, Ogrodzieniec and of course my beloved - Krakow. We concluded our trip in Warsaw. It was time well spent!
Letting go…
This piece has been on my mind. It is another one inspired by volcanoes of HI, as well as my clinical work. “Letting go” is a tribute to moving on and releasing what keeps us stuck whether it is difficult upbringing, trauma, or loss. It is about making space for a new experience, inner peace, and growth.
I’m moving!
.
What began as a simple experiment and creative outlet has grown into something I never imagined. With every piece I weave, my passion deepens, and I’m loving where this journey is taking me. It’s officially time to move into a bigger space!
…And another one
Remember this epic diptych I created for a Senior Living facility in Seattle, WA? Here is the update!
Another piece update
Here’s another client update. This piece now resides at the Paso Robles Inn in Paso Robles, CA. It’s a perfect fit!
A note from a client
.
I am so excited to hear from one of my clients. It is always such a joy to receive a note and photo of the custom piece in its new home!
Heading home
.
This piece is heading to sunny California! Check out an article about this beautiful mid-century modern home.
Fiber curation
Here is another fiber curation. This piece has been quite popular, it’s a fifth commission! The client is quite flexible and open to changes in the original design. Let’s see how the process goes!
Here it is
.
This piece was inspired by a few of my older tapestries. It was a collaborative process with the client who had a very clear idea of what she imagined. We checked in frequently throughout the process, and here it is!
Sneak peek

Here’s a little sneak peek of the latest commission. It’s coming along beautifully!
